Media Sales Executive

Up to £20k per annum basic (depending on experience) + up to £6k OTE and excellent benefits

Redactive Media Group is looking for a media sales executive to sell across recruitment advertising solutions for some of our niche publications. You will be part of a specialist team selling recruitment advertising and will work closely with the display sales team, editorial and production departments while developing and maintaining contacts across the markets.

You will be selling to a range of businesses, from recruitment consultancies and advertising agencies to multi-national blue chip organisations. To many of your clients, you will become the face of the institutes and membership bodies you are representing.

The Role

You will manage existing clients as well as develop new relationships with recruitment consultancies, advertising agencies and direct clients. Experience of selling recruitment advertising and job sites would be an advantage but is not essential.

Using tenacity, excellent organisation skills and flexibility you will be responsible for the recruitment advertising, specialist projects and recruitment features across your titles.

Your Responsibilities

  • Selling print and digital recruitment solutions - over the telephone and in person
  • Conducting face to face meetings with key clients, recruitment consultancies and advertising agencies where appropriate
  • Maintaining existing client relationships whilst seeking out new ones
  • Developing new commercial opportunities and revenue streams
  • Consistently achieving set KPIs for revenue, new business and sales activity


  • You have experience in a media sales environment, preferably in recruitment advertising
  • You are confident and have an articulate and intelligent sales technique
  • You can deal with clients up to director level
  • You can work autonomously and create new commercial opportunities
  • You are a quick learner
  • You are comfortable working in a target driven environment
  • You have a strong work ethic and determination to succeed
